Program – Muay-Thai
MUAY-THAI
PROGRAMS
PROGRAM DETAILS
MUAY-THAI: Muay Thai is referred to as the “Art of Eight Limbs” or the “Science Of Eight Limbs” because it makes use of punches, kicks, elbows and knee strikes, thus using eight “points of contact”, as opposed to “two points” (fists) in Western boxing and “four points” (hands and feet) used in sport-oriented martial arts. Our coaches will take our members through these skill points and develop them through partner, offensive, and defensive drills.
We also have special guest seminars two to three times a year to help elevate our member’s experience with different athletes, as well as help our coaches refine their skills when entering competitions.
COMPETITIVE PROGRAM: Budo Canada is registered under Muay-Thai Ontario, and we compete as a team in all major Ontario Competitions.
YOUTH PROGRAM: Starting from ages 5 years old to 18 years old, our program is safe and professionally run with your children’s best interests in mind. Whether it be for self defense, leisure, or wanting to compete, we have the coaches and support to make it happen.
