About

l’m Charlene Asencio, a certified personal trainer with a lifelong passion for movement and athletic performance. My fitness journey began at just 3 years old with dance, eventually leading me into the world of competitive dance throughout my youth. As a student, I immersed myself in various sports and physical activities, and during my final two years of high school, I worked as an assistant gym teacher-a role that sparked my interest in pursuing a career in the fitness industry.

At 18, I got my first gym membership and began taking my own training seriously. Wanting to deepen my knowledge, 1 enrolled in the Fitness and Health Promotion program at Seneca College, where I gained a strong academic foundation in exercise science, program design, and health coaching.

While studying, I earned my CanFitPro certification and began working with clients at GoodLife Fitness, where I gained valuable hands-on experience building custom training programs and helping individuals reach their goals. From there, I transitioned into private training, where I could provide more personalized support to each client.

My mission is to help others feel strong, confident, and empowered-whether they’re just starting out or looking to level up their training.
