Basil has been teaching for the past 25 years. Basil has taught grade 1 to 8. Since 2005, he has been teaching grade eight at St. Conrad Catholic school, where he specializes in English. Basil also holds his Ontario Basketball coaching certification Level 1 and has been coaching the sport for 26 years.

When not teaching, Basil is coaching and assisting his three children’s basketball teams. From house league to Rep and AAU traveling teams, he is a dedicated father and coach. He also has been weight training since he was 19. Basil’s ability inspire youth academia and athletics is second to none.
