Sergei’s teaching goes back to Ukraine, as a graduate from the University of Sports and Physical Culture (the perfect combination of movements designed to increase strength, fitness and flexibility). In April of 2014 Sergei was a coach in the training camp hosting the National Boxing Teams for Ukraine and Canada. From 2016 to 2017 Sergei was a professional boxing coach in Oxanrd, California teaching the likes of professional world boxers Oleksandr Usik, Vasyl Lomachenko, and Oleksandr Gvozdyk to name a few. 

Sergei has been a boxing coach at Budo Canada since late 2017. He has taught the skills classes as well as the competitive boxing classes. In addition he has trained various professional boxers under the Budo Canada flag. Currently his latest student, undefeated Pavel Lyutenko is also aiding Sergei in teaching his skills classes and helping our amateur competitive boxing team prepare themselves for competitions under Boxing Ontario.
